As well as undertaking final outfitting and commissioning on hulls stemming from our facilities in Romania, Vard Brattvaag also does ship repair and conversions on everything from complex offshore vessels to ferries and fishing vessels.
Established in 1949, the ship yard has been part of VARD since 1993 and has a solid reputation for high quality and successful completion of demanding shipbuilding projects.
The wide variety of ships it has delivered – including OSVs, fishing vessels, specialized vessels, ferries, car carriers, and, more recently, autonomous electric vessels – is clear proof of its dynamic diversification and enduring competitiveness over the past 70 years.
