IT Infinity
Cable Laying Vessel for I.T. International Telecom Marine SRL.

IT Infinity is a Cable Laying Vessel (CLV) built for I.T. International Telecom Marine SRL (IT) to support global subsea telecommunications operations. Originally a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV), it underwent a comprehensive retrofit at Vard Brattvaag, transforming it into a highly specialized vessel for cable laying and maintenance.
The retrofit included the installation of a 60-ton A-frame, 25-ton Cable Drum Engine (CDE), 20-ton Linear Cable Engine (LCE), and MD3 cable plough system, along with a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) and fiber optic cable testing equipment. Additionally, the vessel's station-keeping system was upgraded to a fully operational DP2 Class approved positioning system, ensuring precision and safety for offshore operations.
The conversion also included adding accommodations for 32 crew members, with all work completed at Vard Brattvaag in Norway, using approximately 550 tons of steel sourced and processed locally.
