Fully Electrical Car- and Passenger Ferry for Boreal Sjø AS
Utnefjord was delivered to Boreal from Vard Langsten in March 2020. The ferry is designed with focus on sustainability being a plug-in hybrid with two SeaQ® Energy Storage Systems installed. The ferry operates fully electrical but has diesel generators as back-up.
