Vörður is of VARD 8 08 design as a twin-screw Stern Trawler with good sea keeping qualities with focus on good conditions for crew onboard as well as efficient and safe fish handling. It is designed to be environmental friendly with focus on low fuel consumption. Outfitted for Semi-Pelagic and bottom-trawling operations year round with processing and cargo facilities for the catch.
