Yara Birkeland is a Zero Emission Autonomous Open Hatch Container Feeder and was delivered to Yara from Vard Brattvaag in November 2020. The vessel is prepared for autonomous operation, as a container feeder and in transport. The vessel operates fully electrical with a 7000 kW battery.
