The VARD 8 50 design is a state of the art design that VARD has developed for transportation of live salmon, trout and other farmed species.
The design has the technology to meet the latest demands for fish health, efficiency and environmentally-friendly operations. The vessel encloses two holding tanks designed for under- and overpressure operations for carrying and treatment of live fish. Latest innovation of live fish handling system ensures good water quality and circulation, together with efficient and gentle fish loading and unloading.
With a high focus on quality of fish, safety of crew, and sustainable operations, the vessels has the most efficient technology to operate with a minimum environmental footprint.
