VARD signs contracts with Norwind Offshore
VARD is delighted to announce contracts of the design and construction of two Commissioning Service Operations Vessels (CSOVs) with options for two additional vessels, and the sales and conversion of one Platform Supply Vessel to be converted to a Service Operation Vessel (SOV) for Norwind Offshore in Ålesund, Norway. The contracts for the firm three vessels have an indicative total value of NOK 1.4 billion.

VARD wins North Star Renewables contract for three SOVs to operate on Dogger Bank Wind Farm
Norway, 6 April 2021 – VARD, one of the world’s major designers and shipbuilders of specialized vessels, is pleased to announce that it has secured contracts for the design and construction of three Service Operation Vessels (SOVs) for North Star Renewables in Scotland. The state-of-the-art hybrid trio will operate on the Dogger Bank Wind Farm in the North Sea.

Second Expedition Cruise Vessel delivered to Coral Expeditions
Following successful delivery of the sister ship Coral Adventurer in 2019, Australia-based Coral Expeditions ordered a second VARD 6 01 Expedition Cruise Vessel as part of its fleet expansion. The brand new Coral Geographer is now ready to sail on new adventures after arriving from Vard Vung Tau, our shipyard in Vietnam. Her first maiden voyage with passengers will start from Cairns, Queensland, at the end of March.
