Norwind Maestro 495

Purpose-built CSOV delivered as planned

Norwind Offshore, in partnership with Navigare Capital, required a future-ready Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) to support efficient and sustainable offshore wind operations. As the fifth newbuild delivered by VARD to Norwind Offshore, Norwind Maestro represents a continued and trusted collaboration between the companies.

VARD delivered Norwind Maestro as a tailor-made vessel based on the VARD 4 19 design, optimized for high operability, logistics efficiency, and onboard comfort.

Built through VARD’s integrated value chain, from hull construction at Vard Shipyards Romania - Braila, to final outfitting and delivery at Vard Søviknes in Norway, the vessel was delivered ahead of schedule. Now operating in the German North Sea, Norwind Maestro further strengthens Norwind Offshore’s fleet with a reliable and efficient platform for offshore wind operations.

The challenge

As offshore wind farms increase in scale and complexity, operators require vessels capable of supporting both construction and maintenance phases with high efficiency, safety, and comfort. Norwind Offshore needed a flexible CSOV that could meet demanding operational requirements while aligning with sustainability ambitions.

Norwind Maestro has already proved herself in operations and is a strong token on how the close collaboration between VARD, Navigare Capital and Norwind Offshore enable efficient sustainable offshore wind operations at sea. Once again VARD has delivered a solid project characterized by close communications and strong execution skills.
